About EnergiAcres · Our roots and vision

Ohio roots.
A bigger purpose for energy.

We aim to use energy twice—from power generation and from the data centers it serves—so the infrastructure built for AI can support more productive uses around it.

A company vision for connecting land, energy, intelligence and local opportunity.

Where we come from

Six generations of farming.
A long view of what comes next.

EnergiAcres was founded by Shawn Cutter, a sixth-generation Ohio farmer with a legacy in Ohio’s energy industry.

That background shapes our ambition: make thoughtful use of the land, the energy and the infrastructure we invest in. Build for the next generation, not only the next project.

Farming, energy and AI may look like separate worlds. We see an opportunity to connect them—bringing new infrastructure and productive local uses into a more useful relationship.

How we think

See the connections.
Design for the whole system.

EnergiAcres is an AI-first master systems integrator. We see value in the connections between land, power, compute, water, infrastructure and the people who use them.

In plain terms, we look across systems that are often planned separately. Our approach is to use AI to connect information, compare options and make dependencies easier to understand—supporting, not replacing, engineering judgment, local knowledge and accountable decisions.

EnergiAcres develops community-aligned AI infrastructure campuses that combine powered land, reliable on-site energy, AI compute, circular resource reuse, and productive local uses.

See

Find the relationships.

Understand the flows of energy, water and information alongside real local needs. A useful connection begins with an accurate picture of both sides.

Connect

Bring the right systems together.

Explore the technical, commercial and operating interfaces that could make a second use practical, while preserving each owner’s responsibilities.

Create value

Make the investment work harder.

Look for productive uses that can support local enterprise and durable value. Test the economics and impacts before treating an opportunity as a result.

Our energy ambition

Use energy twice.
Make more of what we build.

Electricity powers the work of computing. Heat produced during generation and computing may still have another useful job to do. Our ambition is to plan for that second purpose from the beginning.

That means examining both recovered heat from power generation and heat carried away by data-center cooling systems. These are different streams, with different temperatures, availability and possible uses—not interchangeable supplies.

Where practical, recovered heat could support manufacturing, food processing, controlled-environment agriculture, heating or other productive uses. The aim is the highest-value practical match, not a greenhouse or any other answer chosen in advance.

The investment should not stop working for the community when its first energy use is complete.

“Use energy twice” means putting useful energy into a second application—not creating energy or counting the same electricity twice. Recovery requires suitable demand, equipment, permissions and a sound business case. It must protect the primary facility’s reliability, safety and environmental obligations.

Why the opportunity matters here

At this scale,
second uses deserve a first look.

SB Energy described its plans for PORTS as the world’s largest AI data center in its March 2026 announcement coverage. That is the developer’s description of a planned project, not a claim that the largest operating campus already exists. Read SB Energy’s description

For EnergiAcres, the important question is what a development of this scale could make possible beyond computing. After investing so much in producing power and running data centers, leaving potentially useful heat unexamined would be a missed opportunity.

We want to help ask that question early—before infrastructure choices make practical second uses harder. The amount of recoverable heat, viable end uses and local benefits must be established through project-specific work; none is assumed here.

Ambition and local fit

A broad vision.
A role that must be earned.

“Master systems integrator” describes EnergiAcres’ company-wide approach. It is not an appointment as integrator, operator or representative of PORTS or any of its organizations.

At PORTS, we are a potential contributor. Any work would begin with existing institutions and operators, local priorities, cleanup constraints and an agreed scope. No land rights, access to energy streams, operating authority or formal partnerships are implied.

Our ambition is to help make more of what is built. Whether and how EnergiAcres can contribute here remains a local discussion.
